Effective August 1, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Ann Arbor Apps LLC for use of amigly.com and its related applications, APIs, and support services (“Amigly”). By using Amigly, creating an account, joining an event, or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Accounts and authority
You must provide accurate information, protect access to your account, and promptly report suspected misuse. Ann Arbor Accounts handles the shared identity; Amigly separately controls event, group, network, and billing permissions. If you act for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it and manage the information you submit.
Guests and events
An RSVP records your stated intention; it is not a ticket, guarantee of admission, promise that an event will occur, or endorsement by Amigly. Organizers may change or cancel events, enforce reasonable attendance rules, and manage capacity and waitlists. Follow the organizer’s safety, venue, age, accessibility, and conduct requirements. Resolve event-specific questions with the organizer when possible.
Organizer responsibilities
Organizers are responsible for their events, listings, venues, permits, insurance, accessibility, safety, attendee communications, and compliance with applicable laws. You may collect and use attendee information only for legitimate event operations and must protect it from unauthorized use. Do not export guest information for unrelated marketing, sell it, or share it beyond people who need it to run the event.
Listings must be accurate and must not be deceptive, unlawful, discriminatory, dangerous, infringing, or designed to collect unnecessary sensitive information. Amigly may refuse, limit, unpublish, or remove an event or account to protect guests, organizers, the service, or the public.
Subscriptions and payments
Paid network plans are billed through Stripe at the price and interval shown at checkout. Unless checkout states otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. A network administrator can manage payment methods, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, but you may contact support about duplicate charges or processing errors.
Each network may receive one 14-day trial of a paid plan. A payment method is required to start the trial. Stripe displays the exact trial end and first-charge date at checkout. Cancel before that date to avoid the first charge; paid-plan access normally continues through the trial end. A network that has already trialed or subscribed is not eligible for another free trial.
We may change future prices or plan limits with advance notice. Taxes may apply. Failed or reversed payment can suspend paid features without deleting the underlying network immediately.
Featured placement
Paid placement is always intended to be visibly labeled “Featured” or “Paid placement.” Payment reserves limited discovery inventory; it does not buy editorial endorsement, guarantee attendance, change organic eligibility, or give permission to publish an otherwise ineligible event. A placement may be rejected, delayed, or removed for policy, inventory, payment, or safety reasons. Any refund or credit will follow the terms shown at purchase or required by law.
Your content and our service
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant Amigly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve Amigly and the events you choose to make public. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the content.
Amigly and its software, branding, and original materials belong to Ann Arbor Apps LLC or its licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. Feedback may be used without obligation to you.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Amigly, bypass access controls or plan limits, scrape guest data, send spam, impersonate another person, introduce malicious code, interfere with service operation, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use Amigly to violate another person’s rights. Report suspected abuse or infringement through Amigly support.
Service changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may limit or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful conduct, nonpayment, or harm to others or the service. You may stop using Amigly at any time. Provisions that logically should survive termination—including payment, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive.
Disclaimers and liability
AMIGLY IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANN ARBOR APPS LLC DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT CONTROL OR GUARANTEE ORGANIZERS, GUESTS, VENUES, EVENT QUALITY, ATTENDANCE, SAFETY, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANN ARBOR APPS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM AMIGLY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO AMIGLY DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITS, SO THOSE LIMITS APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED.
Indemnity
If you organize events or use Amigly on behalf of an organization, you will defend and indemnify Ann Arbor Apps LLC from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your events, content, misuse of attendee information, violation of law, or breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by our own unlawful conduct.
Governing law and changes
Michigan law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Washtenaw County, Michigan will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise. If one term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. We may update these terms by posting a revised date and giving additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
