Effective August 1, 2026.
Ann Arbor Apps LLC operates amigly.com (“Amigly,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains the information Amigly handles when people discover or join events and when organizers run groups and event networks.
Information we collect
Account information. Ann Arbor Accounts provides Amigly with an account identifier, verified email address, and optional display name after you sign in. If you use Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, or X, the provider authenticates you through Ann Arbor Accounts; Amigly does not receive your provider password or access token.
Profile and participation information. This includes the name, home city, time zone, interests, and biography you choose to add; groups you follow; events you save or join; RSVP and waitlist status; and the name and email shared with the event’s authorized organizers.
Organizer and event information. Organizers provide network and group names, locations, event descriptions, schedules, venues, capacity, roles, invitations, and public listing content. Amigly also records permission and publishing activity needed to operate and secure the shared calendar.
Billing and support information. Stripe processes payment details. Amigly receives transaction, customer, subscription, and payment status identifiers—not complete card numbers. When you contact support, we process your message, chosen attachments, and limited account, plan, page, event, and group context needed to resolve the request.
Technical information. Our hosting and security systems may process IP address, browser and device information, request time, referring page, and diagnostic or security logs. We use essential cookies for sign-in, fraud prevention, and your selected network. Amigly does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts; show public events and groups; remember groups you follow; process saved events, RSVPs, and waitlists; let organizers coordinate events, permissions, and guests; process subscriptions and labeled placements; provide support; prevent abuse; diagnose failures; enforce our terms; and meet legal, accounting, and security obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who receives information
Public event and group details are visible to anyone. Authorized hosts, group leads, and network administrators can see the attendee details required to run their events. A network administrator controls access for its organizing team.
We use service providers to operate Amigly, including Microsoft Azure for the API and database, Netlify for the web experience, Cloudflare for DNS and traffic protection, Stripe for billing, Cozable for support, Ann Arbor Accounts for identity, and an email delivery provider for transactional messages. These providers process information for their services under their own contracts and policies. Stripe publishes additional information in its Privacy Center, and Microsoft publishes its Privacy Statement.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, in connection with a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent. Amigly product data is kept separate from WidgetDino; the products do not share customer, role, billing, or session databases.
Retention and security
We keep information while it is needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, dispute, tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Public-event history, billing records, audit records, and backups may remain longer than active profile details. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to legal and operational requirements.
We use access controls, encryption in transit, server-only credentials, scoped product permissions, and audit records appropriate to the information we handle. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not put passwords, payment card numbers, secret keys, health records, or other unnecessary sensitive information into event or support fields.
Your choices
You can edit profile details and visibility in Amigly, follow or unfollow a group, change or cancel an RSVP, and manage billing through Stripe’s customer portal when one is available for your network. You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information through Amigly support. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when the law or a legitimate operational need requires it. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
Children
Amigly is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create an account. Organizers are responsible for any additional consent and safeguarding obligations for events intended for minors.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Amigly changes. We will change the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions and privacy requests can be sent through Amigly support.
